Today I got a mail from Google informing me that Google has launched their marketplace. With this Google is gaining more and more power with bringing the web together. It´s now possible to integrate all apps in one storage and one starting point, making google the central point to share and store your data from other Apps.

I think this will make a lot things easier, because you know where your data is stored and you can share data between apps. For me this could be the next boost in Software as a Service and fill in the missing piece between different apps.

Is this the next step for a real Web OS ? Where you do not need to sit on your own PC and still have all your apps and data ready to work with.

Just migrated back to MacPorts after trying Fink. Cannot remember why i stop using MacPorts, but now i`m back. MacPorts are so much easier to use and they even seems to be more stable.

Now i have my updated subversion and my new ruby version.

Nachdem ich nun häufiger mal ein Blog zu einem Thema angefangen habe und dann doch wieder aufgehört habe die einzelnen Blogs zu füttern, probiere ich hier mal alles zusammen zu führen und dann auch mal regelmässig Content zu erzeugen.
